I am such a night owl and have pretty much stuck to my routine like I do at home with going to bed late (2am). I slept until around 6:15am as I wanted to get a sunrise picture but it was windy and cloudy this morning with Hurricane Erin and all. I’ve been tracking her and she won’t really hit Turks, Turks will mainly get tropical storm weather from it. I laid in bed and tried to go back to sleep but when I couldn’t I played around online a bit. Before I knew it I was waking up at 10:18am and breakfast was at 10:30am so I quickly got ready.
I forgot to get a photo of our full breakfast spread today but it was a lot like the first two days combined (bacon, eggs, sweet potato, fruit, etc.). We all got full from breakfast and went out to lay by the pool. I hooked up my phone and DJ’d outside. The wind was whipping out there today and I saw no signs of anyone in the water. Thankfully the sun came out a bit and it still turned out to be a nice day. Delroy opted to go pick up some local food for us and sent us the menu for us to choose from.
Auntie Cheryl wrote down what we all wanted and and we estimated based on the prices online how much it would all cost. Right before I got the money from everyone I heard a shriek and looked over and the wind had swiped the list from up under Auntie Cheryl and there was no getting it back (it was hilarious). She re-wrote the list and when Delroy did finally arrive I went with him. I wanted to go with him because there was a souvenir store nearby and I wanted to get my family their magnets (preferably not from the airport).
We ordered our food from a local spot Crackpot Kitchen and Delroy pre-ordered so it would be ready on arrival. When I glanced at the bill I couldn’t believe it because it was about double the cost of what we had estimated. Thankfully I was given a good portion of it in cash from Lisa and Auntie Cheryl but I had to add quite a bit to it myself (it eventually all evened out). The souvenir store was just up the street so I went in and only took about ten minutes at the most but I got what I was looking for (the selection was scarce but it would do).
Back at the villa I revealed the actual cost and we dug into our food. Clearly we were looking at the wrong menu because there were some missing and incorrect sides. Nevertheless we had what we had and we went with it. The food was good (I got the fried lemon pepper snapper). After dinner Auntie Cheryl and I watched the rest of The Four Seasons episodes (three of them) and then we called it a night.
